Wonderful shoes!!
This is my second pair of this exact shoe and I got them as my main shoe to run the Leadville 100 this year! There is just the right amount of cushioning so you don’t feel every rock that you step on! They are so comfortable and stand up very well to all the trail elements!

I am so in love with these shoes
They are excellent and still like new, no matter how much I used them. I love that they are very light and have a good grip. Very comfortable for me, I ordered half more size, and maybe that is why I feel them so comfortable and I don't feel them big.

Great traction, poor design.
Great traction, you can really feel the grip on any terrain especially hiking. Lacks comfort in vamp as it restricts natural spreading in take off causing front sole and welt support. Really tightens the throat line upon landing. Had minor small toe pain upon running my 3rd mile. The unnatural bending causes metatarsal and phalange strain.

Fantastic Shoe!
I wear Solomon's for work but have never purchased a pair for personal use until now. I bought these shoes for trail running and they were perfect. The provided extra cushion, ankle support, and grip.

Top Favorite Trail Shoe
Best trail shoe ever. Extremely comfortable (and cushy) out of the box and the 8mm drop is just perfect. Super grippy and light, making it a great choice for long technical trail runs. The best feature though, is the support from the active chassis. This shoe is a must-have.

Not a fan of the colors
Not a big fan of any of the color choices. Favorite shoe for trail running otherwise.

Good shoe but NEEDS MORE COLORS
Would be a favorite... but is with the poor color choices for the women's Genesis? Very lacking in color choices for women! Recommend to have different color choices. The men's version has better colors. (Meanwhile the women's choices of Black/Sulphur Spring/Orchid Petal and Carbon/Grisaille/Aloe Wash colors are kinda ugly)

Perfect, versatile trail shoe for all surfaces
At last, probably the best trail shoes I’ve ever had - and I’ve had loads over many decades! So comfy and versatile perfect for all terrains - hardpacked trails, mud, squelchy grass, slippery rocks, stony paths, gravel - what fantastic grip! Light but cushioned, wide toe box, nicely responsive. I use Salomon Speedcross for really muddy trails, and these are perfect for all other kinds of surfaces and terrain. Highly recommend.

Comfortable + Durable = Great Trail Shoe
Comfortable, narrow (which is great for my feet), and durable enough to handle the trails. Highly recommend for anyone trying to do sub-ultra trail running/training.

Overall Great for Mixed Terrains!
I was choosing between these shoes and the Glides to start training/racing ultra trail races. I ultimately chose this shoe because I live on the East Coast and most trails I run on are rocky. I also went a half size bigger than my road shoe size because I found my feet swelling more on long trail runs than long road runs, and I had a lot of toe jamming issues. These shoes are versatile, the toe box is stiff, and although I was worried about my foot slipping around inside the shoe, I feel like these shoes provide the perfect balance of stable yet let me feet do what they need to do. The shoes handle well on technical trail, gravel, uphill, and through a variety of rocks, including big, slippery rocks. The hideaway laces are a nice feature as well.
