Glide MaxTR
I bought a few weeks ago. I have been wearing Salomon shoes for 15 years, they are the most comfortable. These shoes are very wide and bulky. Not my favorite.

Excellent cushion
I bought these about a month ago. Great for winter running. Lots of cushion and the traction is fantastic

Somethings wrong
Recieved these for Christmas so I've been wearing them for about a month and a half' the fabric on the top is coming apart and the left shoe is making my arch sore so I have gone back to my old pair of thunder cross

Enjoyable trail runners
These shoes are great for running hills, on gravel, on soft forrest floor, and on non-technical trails. I've gone anywhere from 3-15 miles in them with no problem, and they were a life saver on a recent trip where I was traveling for days walking on cobblestone streets. They're comfortable and have nice cushion, but you can still feel the terrain beneath you. (I live Thundercross better which is why I'm giving 4 stars)

Cushy stable shoe
I’m enjoying my Glide Max TRs. I love the cushion, not to soft but gentler on my joints than most trail shoes I run in. It’s rainy season in Oregon so these are better for dry, less muddy days on the steep hills. Nice wide toebox and stable heel. The tongue slipped constantly, uncomfortably on both feet, so I re-laced using the tongue loop to tether it in center, which worked well. Good grip but not for hill mud. Very comfortable.

Look great
For around the house these will be wonderful, for pounding pavement not so much. I'm used to a return, cushion, bounce, something.. All energy goes here to die.

VERY comfy!
Perfect right out of the box. Love them. Though they feel a half size larger, they are perfect for my evening workouts after work.

Glide Max TR - after first trail 2hr run
I though I would be able to edit my last review but it was not possible, just want to share insights and hope shoes improve every new model. I really hoped to have a better experience but I didn't. I really wish I could return them for not being satisfied at all. Upper: 0/10, stiff and hard on your feet, I could feel the crease on top of my feet on every step when going up, they don't adjust so feet feel lose inside. Mine are quite narrow but I had never had this issue before. I usually buy 8M, and bought the same size, same as all my other shoes (Nimbus 26, Novablast 4, Speedgoat 5, Sense Mantra... ). Felt insecure going down the mountain, my feet slipped forward and hit the bumper so I had to go really slow and cautiously because it hurt my toes and nails. Outsole: 8/10 as expected, good grip even though lugs are for not a technical terrain. Today the ground was dry and soil was loose, but they still felt gripping ok. Unfortunately, this was overshadowed because my feet felt loose inside the shoe so they slipped and hurt my big toe. I would have felt better with a road running shoe but with a soft upper. Laces: 0/10, again, they feel stiff and came undone even though I had doble knot. I was not able to tie them safely. Again, my feet felt lose within the shoe and had to tie them while running. Midsole: 4/10, heel: it was good it isolated my feet from feeling rocks, the reason why I bought "max cushion" trail running shoes is because I want to be able to run long distance in them, without feeling the ground. So, the sensation on my heels were just ok, but I could not describe it as cushioned, Forefoot, I could feel almost everything. Not satisfied again. Conclusion: If I could return them, I would. I really don't want to go trail running with them again.

Salomon Running Shoes
Love my new Salomon running 🏃 shoes. They are extremely comfortable and give me that extra burst of energy to lower my 1 mile split time.
