Lightweight and comfortable
The heel strike is a little odd with the boxy rear end of the shoe but it didn't affect my walking/running motion at all. Very comfortable, no complaints other than the knit material getting dirty very easily

Poor insoles...bad design
Just bought my second pair of Salomon running shoes and having the identical same problem I had with my first pair: the insoles slip out of place and slide out behind my heel. And yes, the shoes fit perfectly and are laced snuggly. With my first pair, I simply swapped out the insoles from another brand and that solved the issue. But now that it's happening with the new and expensive pair, I can only assume this is a design flaw. I've been buying running shoes for 45 years (all different brands) and new have had this problem. Salomon's solution is to send me the exact same insoles that can with the shoe. Don't see this as a fix!
