BOA on the side of the boot makes squeaky sound
Tried two pairs, both have the problem that the side BOA on one of the boot produces a harsh irritating squeaky sound when tightened. This is brand new right out of the box when tried on for the very first time, which makes it feel like a design flaw. Also unable to get good locking of the ankle, ankle lifts up so much, much worse than the Launch BOA SJ.

Love it!
At first I was a little worried that I would not like it because I was used to very soft boots, but now I think it’s one of the best boots I ever had.

Decent replacement for my Synapse
I've had two pair of the double zone boa Salomon Synapse boots over the last several years, now discontinued. Tried two other boots from other brands but came back to Salomon for this. They're generally the right stiffness (I like stiff bklts) and a near perfect fit, my only beefs are a little heel rise (had zero in the Synapse) that was mostly corrected with the included power bar/J-bars and right boot for whatever reason doesn't get as tight at the top so I have a lot of play at the shin. The Boas have a tendency to get loose but I expect that out of any boa, easy enough to tighten back up. I think these are worth trying on for anyone, but next time I'm boot shopping I'm going to try out more options and may ditch boas.
