Winter running game changer
I was delighted to see that Salomon made my favorite trail shoe in a “studded snow tire” version. I have worn these shoes for several winter runs now, and they are a game changer. They grip super well in snow and on ice without changing your foot fall. I recommend them to all my running and walking friends.

Awesome winter shoes
This is my third pair of Spikecross shoes. I live in Alberta, Canada, so winters are snowy and icy. The treads alone are fantastic for grip on snow and hard pack but the built in spikes really help on ice, and they don’t affect the feel at all. I only walk, but I have a friend who runs in these shoes and also loves them.

Husband Loved His So I'm Buying a Pair
This is my hubby's first winter of running, so I bought him these. He loved them, so now I will be buying a pair. He said they are excellent for running on snow and icy walkways and keep his feet dry. The fit is true to size for him.

INCREDIBLE ICE RUNNING SHOES
As a trail runner, I went through the speedcross 3 to the 5 and enjoyed the massive lugs, lightweight material, protective and ergonomic fit around my ankle. Salomon took these brilliant characteristics of the speedcross and added them to the spikecross. The waterproofing is superb (especially when using the Trail Gaiters High) if you are planning on being in deeper snow. The spikes cling to snow, slush and ice with ease without you having to worry about slipping while keeping a consistent pace uphill AND downhill. Great product for ice running!! I wear a 9 in the speedcross and a 9 in the spikecross felt no different.

These are great shoes!
Peace of mind on icy tracks, these shoes are awesome, and comfortable. The speed cross is my go to summer hiking shoe, and these spike cross are now my go to winter walking and hiking shoes. Unisex M6/W7 fits as well as W only 7, and might be a bit wider which I do like.

Winter Life Saver
This is my third pair. Couldn't go through an Alaskan winter without them, whether it is on icy city streets or on trails. These shoes are like buying insurance. Replaced last pair after 4 winters of 20 miles a week avg. use and are still wearable. Cushioning is gave out.

Works as advertised, one small modification
Have owned many pairs of Salomons over the years, but this is the first pair of spiked shoes I have purchased. Was tired of stretchy rubber solutions, so gave this a try. Works very well, highly recommended. Comes with 12 spikes, I ordered some additional studs and put a 13th stud in the middle of the heel, does help considerably with rear heel slippage. Users, don't be shy about adding studs to these if you want more ice grip. Great shoe and looking forward to using these more next winter!

SHIPPING portion is non refundable
I bought this recently but the fit guide was wrong, upon requesting a refund I had to get a box, because I tossed it out = my fault. the refund came back without the shipping cost.
