Why We Like The Salomon T1 Boot
The Salomon T1 Boot thrives on the feet of groms who have graduated from the high chair but still reside comfortably at the kids table. These boots handle a pizza and a french fry thanks to a soft and easily manipulated flex, a comfortable width, and the warmth of a junior liner.

Comfortable and warm for toddlers
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 16.0
Bought these for my daughter just learning to ski. We previously had season rentals from a local shop and they were quite worn out, so we decided to upgrade. It was amazing to see how much better my daughter could walk in these boots and she seemed much happier and in control on her skis. They are easy to get on and off and you can tell how much more comfortable they are for her. For reference my daughter wears a size 9 shoe and we purchased a 16.0

It's a big shell with a small liner
Really disappointed that the 14.5 is the same boot as the bigger sizes just with a smaller liner in it.

Ratchet loosens while skiing
We purchased this boot for our son in December 2019 but he did not start skiing regularly until November 2020. As a comfortable and cozy boot for a never-ever preschooler it ticks all the boxes. Beware of wet-weather skiing because they can get quite damp inside - they are not super waterproof. However, as our 3-year-old son has progressed, the boot definitely has it’s limitations. The primary issue being that the ratchet loosens significantly while he skis meaning that he begins to lose control and we have to keep stopping to retighten them. This is a little disappointing. Otherwise they have held up okay and meet the basic needs for a good price point.
