Not quick drying
Negative experience... I wore these shoes for a six day five night kayak in the backcountry in Canada. They did not dry out the entire time, not overnight. The environment required that I was in and out of the water, however, despite that they did not dry overnight. The insole and netting remained saturated... Very uncomfortable... As well, they permitted sand and particles to enter. I would return them if I could.

Worse.
Backcountry business methods and customer service are garbage...down to every last detail. I can't even get them to stop email harassment and I unsubscribe every day. Be done with you.

Sizing is not that large
I was concerned about reviews that say this fits large, so I ordered in 6 and 6.5 I'm a 6.5-7. Chose 6.5 for sockless or light socked wear. Intended for travel; beach; canoeing; in camp. V. light; adjustable string shoelaces & buckled ankle strap. Muted colour (blue option) & great tread means potential for one-shoe travel. It's the end of the summer season and I won't get to wear these outdoors for a while. Meanwhile, wearing indoors to break in and avoid calluses as they initially seemed a little stiff and I have a somewhat wider foot. Softening up already after a couple of hours of use. I suggest if you are sometimes a half-size and sometimes a size up, go for the half-size (unless you intend to wear with thick socks - but that's not the intended purpose of this shoe).

Great shoes
I bought these for gig rowing and they are brilliant. I can walk through the water to the boat and the shoe give great stability when rowing. Love the colour too.

Excellent Water Shoes
These shoes were perfect for hiking. We hiked the Narrows in Zion Natl. Park and they provided the support, protection and comfort needed for our trip.

Light weight, yet robust
I bought these a month ago and am really pleased with them. They're extremely comfortable, really light, have amazing grip, and I like the optional way to have the heel support. They dry relatively quickly. I bought them for ocean rowing, launching on shingle and mud, and they're much better than the sailing shoes I was using before. I haven't had them long enough to know how they hold up to salt water, I am rinsing with fresh water every use and so far so good. I have also worn them dog walking and cycling. I think they'll be my primary footwear for a trip to New Zealand later this year.

Don't hesitate on these water shoes
Water shoes are always a hit or miss. Mostly a miss for me but not these. I've used them on days in the river and hiking the Narrows in Zion National Park. Only wish they had a black or darker option for women.

The best quality of hiking boot!
I only use Salomon hiking foot wear. The quality is the best!! I have many pairs to boot, running sneakers, to water wear. You can never go wrong with Salomon ❤️

Great sandals
