Great trail shoes
This is my second pair of the same shoes. Very, very satisfied. They are durable, comfortable, no break in time needed. Great support for plantar fasciitis. I highly recommend!

Comfortable and grippy
Overall rating 4.5 stars. I use these for running steep hilly muddy trails and they’re great. I have short wide feet/stubby toes with high arches and size 8.5 in most shoes works best for my foot shape. These feel great in the heel with nice padding, and plenty of room in toe box—my short toes don’t go numb! I don’t usually like speed lacing because I can’t tailor the fit, but the fabric on these shoes works with the speed lacing. Though these are “maximally cushioned,” the cushioning is firmer than I prefer. The 5mm lugs are perfect for deep mud and rough terrain but also feel good on more groomed trails. I haven’t tried them on pavement yet.

Shoes Width is not good
I brought this shoes a month ago and it make me blister on the side of my foot …. I ran 100 kilometers in it to broke them, but it still hurts. I always take standard width and is always fit… except for the salomon thundercross.

Sizing is off
I wear an 8.5 in Speedcross, so I assumed the Thundercross would be the same. they are not. It appears they are perhaps an entire size or size and a half off. I am disappointed I have to send these back and wait for a new pair in my size.

Daily Trail Runner
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 9
This is my 3rd pair of the Thundercross. I initial purchased these because I found my Lone Peaks by Altra weren't great on the wet muddy trails. But now I been running in these on all type of trails and have become my favorite! I have wide feet and found these pretty roomy I did size up 1/2 size to give me a little extra room in the toe box.

Not as good as Speedcross
I’ve worn these for about a week, averaging about 5 miles/day in them. My heels got torn up on the first day, and I’ve been wearing bandaids ever since. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to break them in soon. I never had this problem with my old Speedcross 6 shoes. Also, I feel like the fit is not quite as good. The toe box seems smaller. I’ll go back to the Speedcross next time.

Great Shoe
I switched from the Speedcross (which is also a great shoe) over to the thundercross because I do more walking than running. This shoe feels more stable to walk in but still has the grip of a good trail running shoe. Highly recommended.

comfortable and sturdy
I bought this style as the usual pair I buy was discontinued. To my surprise, I love them better than the usual pair I buy!. I love the traction and support of this style.
