I wish it fits!
Unfortunately, the right shoe is smaller than the left shoe. The left fits perfectly but they are different in size. I need to return them.

I wanted to like this shoe.
Something has happened to the X Ultra shoes! I have worn a version of X ultra for more than a decade. They have been my favorite hiking shoes! So I ordered this one. It was very wide. So wide in fact, that I thought I had inadvertently ordered a wide size. I returned it and then went to a local retail store wearing my four year old X Ultra shoes. The store which has a huge selection of hiking shoes, carries exactly two Salomon hiking shoes for women. I tried on another X ultra style. I had to go down two shoe sizes from my regular size and they were still too big. The toe box is huge! My heel slipped out of the shoe despite wearing thick socks. I do not have a narrow foot. I am so disappointed. I had no choice but to change brands after years and years of loyalty. There are dozens of trail running shoes to choose from, but only a few true women's low hiking shoes. I hope this will change and you will go back to the fit I have known and trusted for the last 5 hiking shoe purchases.

I loved these shoes and have worn them for hiking here in CO almost every day since I bought them at the end of May. Unfortunately, one of the lace holds has already ripped open - no way to fix or use anymore. I am very disappointed.

love!
I love these shoes! I live in Colorado and hike a lot. I started with a couple neighborhood walks with my dog and then jumped right to a harder 7 mile hike. Was hoping I wouldn’t regret that with new shoes but worked out great! Made me wish I would have traded in my old ones sooner.

Amazing Sneakers!
I am an elementary school art teacher and am on my feet for several hours a day walking around my classroom. These sneakers provide great support and comfort for my feet. This is my second pair of Salomon's and they don't disappoint. The bungee lace is quick and convenient for when I want to take them off quick at the end of the day. I recommend sizing up half a size. I am an 8 in most shoes, but wear an 8.5 in Salomon's.

Great hiking shoes
I love this shoes! Wore them to hike Mt Elbert in Colorado which is over 14k feet high. It took me around 6 hours to climb up the mountain and around 4 hours to climb down. The weather was cold, around 30F and my feet remained warm and dry even after stepping on water at the beginning of our hike. They have great grip. No break-in period was necessary in my case. I had only wore this shoes for a small hike in the Italian Dolomites before hiking Mt Elbert. My husband has the male version of this shoe and he also loves how comfortable they’re.

Perfect fit
I bought these hikers as a replacement for my previous pair which I totally wore out. They are super comfortable and have a good grippy tread. would definitely recommend.

A super comfortable shoe

My ideal shoe has a roomy toe box and a snug heel with good arch support, and this shoe is perfect. It has also has excellent cushioning, and the first time I put them on I could wear them for hours. My only request would be for more colors, particularly in darker, more neutral shades.

Love these shoes
My husband has had these shoes for a year and was very impressed so I got some. They are waterproof, comfortable and I love the colour. I wear them for dog walking.
