I've only gotten a handful of miles so far on level terrain but really like the boots. Out of the box, they feel very light and feel solid. The fit may be on the large size but I tried a few different pairs of hiking socks and fit worked well. I may have considered going down a half size but the boot fits tighter around the arch area than the heel and toe box. That snugness has decreased as they break in and think it will be fine in the long term. I've got standard width feet so be aware if you tend to be on the wider side. I'm finding the break-in to take longer than I expect so I deducted a start. The body of the foot is breaking in nicely but the area around the ankle remains stiffer then the rest. I added a popular aftermarket sole insert that is more comfortable the the one they came with. I think the OEM would work but I've got bad feet and started out with a thicker insert. I'll keep the original as a standby. Based on use to date, I really like the boot and think it'll be great after getting them broken in. I only do light hiking these days and the light weight and solid support will be perfect.

Good fit, harsh upper

I’ve got the wide version that fit very well. However upper body is quite harsh and feel I need to wear thick socks to get comfortable. Had previous versions of this boot that didn’t need that which is a shame for this new boot.

Awesome shoe!

So pleased I found the Salomon Brand. Also grateful that they supply size 13.5. The most comfy shoe I have had in a long time and feels very supportive. I also love the way the shoe has been designed a looks. Very pleased with my first Salomon Purchase.

Great fit, and grip, but mediocre breathability

I find them to be very good for hiking and even some snow, but the breathability isnt the best compared to other topgrade boots I've used

I do about 15k steps a day for work, these boots are incredible. Light, waterproof, tough and comfortable. They generally last me about 10-12 months, Ive lost count on how many pairs I’ve had. But I never have any problems with the boots or my feet. Just love them
