What has happened to this (once) great shoe?
Been wearing Salomon footwear since 2008 like religion and the quality has gone from great to crap recently. Owned current pair mere 7 months and the speed laces fell apart and one of the eyelets is failing too. Hard pass on this brand.

I use them for grocery getting.
These shoes are for looking cool around town. They’re not my trail runners. I have the speed cross 6 for that. Why? The toe box is too stiff and over built for my liking.

Not a fan
Sorry to say that I personally found these shoes to be quite uncomfortable. The support underfoot feels extremely minimal.

Durable and Confortable
I recently purchased the Salomon XA PRO 3D V9 hiking shoes, and I am thoroughly impressed with their performance. My favorite shoe
This is my 8th pair of XA PRO 3D. I have them in all different colors because it's the only shoe I've found that is super comfortable and holds up really well.

Comfort and Performance
On my third pair. Use them for military use. Great comfort however they do not seem to last more than a year before they lose tread and begin to fall apart. More durability would get 5 stars.

Quality and comfort
I like the fit, feel and quality of these. I have had other Salomon shoes similar to these and they are wearing well, too. I do not like the lace up system so cut the laces out and re=laced them with traditional laces.

Sole separated after 1 year
Owned 7 pairs of the pro 3d. Very comfortable. Main problem is the last 2 pair I’ve owned the sole separated after 1 year
