Why We Like The Santa Cruz Blur CC XX Eagle Transmission Reserve Mountain Bike
Racing for the finish line or just trying to beat your PR, the Santa Cruz Blur CC XX Eagle Transmission Reserve Mountain Bike is our go-to choice when we need an XC race bike. Fitted with Santa Cruz's new Superlight suspension tune, the Blur utilizes a lower leverage curve and reduces anti-squat characteristics to provide a more efficient forward drive, resulting in a faster, more efficient ride. Pair that with Santa Cruz's VPP suspension platform, and we've got an XC race bike that is super efficient and fast. The Blur's 68.3-degree head tube angle and 76.3-degree seat tube angle puts us in a perfect position for rocketing up technical climbs, while still being able to handle any descents the XC course throws at us.
This build of the Santa Cruz Blur is top-of-the-line and features some of the best components on the market. To start off, Santa Cruz equipped this ride with SRAM's new XO Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain, giving this bike the smoothest, most precise shifting out there. We also are stoked to see SRAM's newly-released version of their Level Ultimate stealth, 2-piston brakes, offering loads of stopping power Next, Reserve's XC 28 carbon wheels, fitted with DT Swiss's 180 EXP hubs, make for a seriously rad wheelset capable of winning you championships. Finally, a RockShox SID SL Ultimate fork and a SIDLuxe Ultimate shock, both fitted with remote lockouts, make for a super responsive and adjustable suspension setup.
*Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components are subject to change. We are working diligently to keep tech specs updated, and any adjustments will be of equal or better spec level.
