Great Direct Replacement
This worked perfectly as a direct replacement for my original stripped out bolt & tension knob. I like the built in clutch so I can’t over tighten. Could have been less expensive, but I think the old trainer has lots of life left so it was worth it.

Good, not great, product.

Exactly what I needed!
After 3 years of consistent use, my trainer knob on my M2 trainer broke. This replacement kit came with all of the necessary pieces & was easy to install. I am looking forward to many more years of riding on my trainer!

Propensity to over-tighten
I wish I could give this more stars. I have had to get two of these replacement knobs over the years because the plastic tends to fail over time. The initial knob used to require about 3 full revolutions to go from first contact to the click (tight enough). The first replacement knob took 3 full revs. This latest knob will go all the way to 5 revs or further and completely squishes the tire - clearly over tightening. I cannot rely on the torque-break I have to count revs.

Lubed Knob is Better
My old knob must have lost it's lube and hard twisting (three full turns after contacting the wheel) was getting harder and harder, until it stripped. This clicker knob, that came lubed, is really great!

Solved my problem! Fast!
I've used CyclOps for about 20 years. In all that time I've had ZERO problems. When I finally wore out a part it took less than a week to get me rolling in my trainer again.

I, like others, are having issues with the clutch knob. It looks like the receiver for the L-Bracket is also damaged, because it is curved and not square. How can I tell if the receiver is damaged?

I just finished watching a utube video on replacing the tension handle on the supermagneto pro with the knob. I don't see it listed in the comparability description. Is it compatible. Also is the clip that holds the gray metal female available as mine snapped off and cannot find it. Thanks in advance.

Last week I asked the question. "Can this clutch knob be used to replaced the Jet fluid pro quick release device?" I had a number of people tell me yes. However my Cycleops trainer with the cam quick release does not use an "L bolt" So my new question is, Can the clutch replacement/upgrade kit still be used to my cam quick release. If so, does anyone know how to make it work without an L bolt configuration. Thanks
