Very good shoe but WIDE is narrower than the 13

I have been satisfied with the Peregrine 13, and was looking forward to the 15 with the improved sole and thicker tongue. Unfortunately, the toe box in the wide version of the 15 is not as wide as the 13 and slightly more pointed. Also tried the 14 and it’s even worse. We’re only talking about 3mm or so but when you are on the trail as much as I am going from no ‘hotspots” to two potentials is unacceptable. Hoka did the same thing with the latest “upgrade” of the Speedgoat. You don’t have to be as open as an Altra or Topo but I wish their design teams would invite comments from experienced trail runners/hikers that could lead to the right shape for a wide shoe.

Peregrine 15s Are Much Improved!

The new Peregrine 15s are great! The 15s have a vastly improved outsole compared to the 13s and 14s. Saucony has finally redesigned the sole and has gone away from the split outsole with soft material that was previously prone to collecting rocks and ruining the shoe. I use them for rugged mountain hiking on trails and cross-country terrain and they perform very well. I will also add that Saucony is a company that stands behind its products, in my experience.

Narrow Toe Box

Toe box is really narrow. I have narrow feet to begin with, but got blisters on the outside of both big toes after only seven miles.

Great training shoe

Purchased this style over a month ago. I like the flatter stance of this shoe. It only has a 4 mm offset so they are quite stable. I’ve used for running and the gym. The soft midsole make for a cushioned run and yet firm enough for gym workouts.

Big improvement over older models

The downsides with previous Peregrine models have disappeared! New and improved outsole helps tackle the roughest and rockiest trails out there

Incredible

These shoes are incredible. Great fit and cushion while being nimble on the trail. Seems like higher quality also than last time I tried them.
