The F1 XT is so light and walks and climbs so well! I love it for the big days going deep in the backcountry well beyond all the tracks. It makes it easy to get thos big days and missions done and drives a mid sized ski no problem (172-183 length by 80-105 width) It seems to fit average feet and the forward lean adjustment allows for a more forward adjustment over the older F1 LT. If you want a boot that is light and walks almost as good as a race boot yet totally rips steep descents, then this is your ticket to a ton of great skiing!
