The Golden Gate Kima RT Trail Running Shoe was designed for that person, built from the demands of elite mountain competitors who need a shoe that can handle exposure, technical rock, and long miles without ever becoming the limiting factor.

The EXO internal support matrix takes structural cues from the Golden Gate Bridge itself, wrapping a highly breathable mesh upper with welded PU reinforcements that add structure and abrasion resistance without packing on weight. Underfoot, the Foot Active Control midsole stacks two densities of Scarpa's exclusive Active EVA, with a softer lower layer that cushions impacts on rocky landings and a firmer upper layer that helps prevent fatigue over distance. Sandwiched between them, a 1mm carbon fiber plate provides protection and a propulsive snap at toe-off that makes fast paces feel sustainable. The Presa SuperGum outsole grips across wet rock, loose trail, and everything in between, so the only thing slowing you down is the climb itself.
