Why We Like The Quantix SF Climbing Shoe
For a one-shoe quiver, we look to the Quantix SF. Scarpa's innovative single-frame randing technology gives our forefoot a hug, helping the slightly downturned toe find precise placement every time. The full-length sole tapers toward the back, bringing us a little flexibility for solid smears, while the hardwearing rubber gives us max grip for edges and slopers.

Nice balanced performance shoes!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer

This is the first Scarpa climbing shoes I have. Before this, I'm a 5.10 fan and have had several pairs of NIAD and Kirigami. Quantix SF is categorized as "Balanced Performance" shoes by Scarpa. It fits quite snaggy especially the heel part, which I feel more suitable for narrow foot. Meanwhile, the size is actually small than other shoes from Scarpa, like Veloce, which I compared the same 38.5 size Quantix SF with my friend's Veloce, and find out it's shorter a little bit.

Excelente gata para darle a la placa o usar en el gym. No es demasiado agresiva pero no por eso carece de buena precisión.

I’m a somewhat experienced climber, but these are the first climbing shoes I’ve bought. After hearing and researching how climbing shoes should fit and how fit varies between companies, I decided to buy a size smaller than my street shoes. Two pairs later I ended up with the same size or a half size bigger than my street shoes. They were still a little tight, but have stretched a little over a few weeks since I got them and feel good now.

Wanted to Like These
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I had originally ordered these shoes the same size as the La Sportiva Finales that I currently use, thinking they would fit similarly. However, I could not fit my foot in the shoe. Fine, I should have tried these shoes on at a store first. But then I ordered them in a full size (European size) larger, and could definitely get my foot inside, but my toes felt a bit crunched and fairly horizontally bunched up. I could deal with the crunching if the shoe were to expand and because the straps would allow for easy removal. I just can't deal with the narrowness of it. I didn't really see this being discussed in other reviews/product description so thought I should let other people with wide feet know. For what it's worth, these shoes look great and fit well everywhere other than the toe-box . . .

These are a bit softer than I'd like. They are certainly not as soft as the Veloces. Compared to the Vapor V, these are a little less comfortable but seems to form to your feet slightly better. I have not compared these to the Quantic. I would consider these a good step up from beginner shoes (like V3-V5 bouldering)
