Good if you need lots of arch support

These were the wrong shoes for me. They have a soft heel and a ton of arch support. If you have a heel-biased midfoot strike or heel strike, your arch breaks over the support foam and becomes very uncomfortable after only a couple miles. It felt like the beginnings of shin splints, which I've never had in any other shoe. I would only recommend these for midfoot and forward strikers. On the plus side, the middle part of the upper hugs the foot nicely, but I wouldn't recommend them for wide feet. The toe box is wider than brands like Asics, which I also appreciated. Not sure if it would be wide enough for people who normally wear wide sizes though. Wish I could return them, but 3 miles outside probably prevents that.
