Detour Stainless Steel Collapsible pot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the product. It's a good size and solid. The only negative point is its weight (heavy).

Detour Pots
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are first class for car/trailer camping. Fold up very small and stack inside each other but are still great pots with the heavy bases.. Also double as bowls for chips or? Friends have also purchased sets from my recommendation.

Great pot, nice size!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pot! haven't used it for cooking yet (but the similar kettle works great to heat water, so I assume this will heat up well too). minimal space needed for a good sized bowl for salads/stews, etc., and a great way to contain other collapsible sea to summit gear within this pot!

Great concept, mixed execution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying that I ultimately do quite like this product, and I can recommend it if you're in need of a good portable cooking pot. However I do feel that it could definitely be better, and it falls short in a few ways (especially considering the price). Out of the box, this feels and looks high-quality. Most of the body is stainless steel with only the middle section being silicon - this gives it a more premium feel than I was expecting. It's easy to collapse and expand the pot, I really love the portability aspect which works as well as I hoped. And I have no issues cooking in it, it heats up fairly quickly and works perfectly on both gas and induction. There's a lot of usability here, and not just for outdoor activities. If you have a small kitchen like I do, this thing really comes in handy. Now here come the cons. First of all, the locking handles (which lock the lid in place) are just terrible. They are extremely finicky, making them difficult to lock and unlock, they don't want to wiggle out of place and they tend to get stuck. They're small and poorly-made, and I don't like how they completely detach from the pot, I wish there was a place to keep them when not in use. Also, the design of the lid is also odd, it's only *very slightly* wider than the mouth of the pot, so it's difficult to get a tight seal since you have to line it up perfectly. If it were just a half-inch wider this wouldn't be an issue. But here's my main gripe: the stainless steel is not very stainless! Anybody who's familiar with SS knows that the material can stain (with hard water/mineral buildup/etc, I'm not sure what the exact term is but you know what I mean, those white/clear spots that develop on SS cutlery) especially if you don't dry it quickly after washing it. But this pot just takes that to a whole other level. After my first time using it, literally the entire bottom of the inside is covered in water spots. And it's difficult to remove, even with my tried-and-true cleaning methods! Again I'm very familiar with SS, I cook in it all the time, but this is just too much. I have never owned a SS pot that has discolored this quickly. I don't know what the issue is, are they using a cheap material or what? But it's very frustrating and makes me less likely to use this pot over others. All-in-all, I love the idea here and this thing really comes in handy. Perfect for camping, small spaces etc. But I hope the company goes back to the drawing board and tweaks some of the issues on display here (lousy lid and handles/stainless steel that's very prone to discoloration). I can still recommend it, as I said, but these issues bring down an otherwise great product, and I expect more considering the premium price tag.
