It is a sturdy, well-crafted knife for those who prefer durability and reliability in outdoor gear. I was genuinely surprised by its sharpness, and I hope the blade holds its edge well, maintaining efficiency during extended use. The main reason I purchased it was its full-tang construction. I appreciate the minimalist design without a traditional handle material. This design choice not only makes it easy to clean but also ensures there are no cracks or joints where the handle might eventually break or loosen over time. However, it's slightly heavier than I expected. While I like the knife's functionality, I probably won't use it for backpacking. If you’re looking to shave every possible ounce from your pack, this might feel a little too hefty. I might get their Detour Stainless Steel Paring Knife as a lighter option for backpacking.

I absolutely love this kitchen knife.

The size is very portable, the edge guard attached firmly and the knife is very sharp. I like the grip of the handle and the ability to use different grips for different cutting chores. The thin blade easily chops vegetables, slices cheese, and trims meat. Perfect for camping, office, or RV.
