Why We Like The SP-01 Boost Tekno Superflow Saddle
Selle Italia continues to out-do itself with their lightest road saddle yet, the SP-01 Boost Tekno Superflow. A slimmed-down version of the Tekno Superflow, the Boost eliminates the top padding and cover in favor of a fully carbon construction in this short saddle, weighing only 105g in the S3 width. The Boost Tekno features the same rear frame design as the Tekno, which allows independent flexing of the left and right sides of the saddle to more comfortably support the alternating movements of your hips while pedaling. A large center cutout relieves perineal pressure and improves blood flow to the area, helping to reduce numbness or pain on long days in the saddle.

Excellent ride

- I've put it through the wringer
Just got this saddle today via FedEx. Finished a 27 mile test ride and all is very good. Have been riding a Trek Bontrager all carbon shell saddle for nearly 10 years. This split saddle, the Sella Italia, has better ride comfort. I had multiple pelvis breaks about a year ago and possibly shifted some of the bones that had been supporting that area. This floating seat in the SP-01 seems to help getting myself comfy again. I prefer the carbon shell, no pad, saddles. The synthetic padding or cover seems to overheat my body parts. The all leather, such as Brooks, seem to be very good also.
