New favorite biking shoes!
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
I bought these as a gift for my partner who has brand loyalty to Specialized. But as soon as he put them on, they were the most comfortable bike shoe he had ever tried and now after he's ridden over 500 miles in the past month, they still remain the most comfortable bike shoe! Doesn't hurt that the blue is his favorite color. The toe box is smaller, closer to the design of the old Specialized biking shoes.

Great, comfortable, stiff shoes. Decent room in toe box for average foot. Narrow heel with good hold.

Fantastic road shoes!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 45.0
Fit, look, comfort, stiffness, function, color (black), ventilation, all excellent. I especially like the dual BOA fasteners and the replaceable heel. Plus, these are usually pretty expensive, and still are expensive, but I got a great discounted price here.

Better Than Expected
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
You'd expect a great shoe for this price, but I still had my reservations. The shoe was initially stiff but has broken in nicely. It remains exceptionally light and responsive.

Very narrow - had to return
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- 46
These are very narrow. They do have a wide version but it appears they don't make those in a 47 which is what I would likely need. As such, I did not wear them to ride so I can't give that feedback. One feedback from a design perspective is that the solid base doesn't extend the entire length of the shoe such that the soft material is exposed in the middle of the shoe. If you had the luxury of only using these for racing that's not a problem but I would be using these for daily training as well and as such walking a bit is necessary. I would worry about the durability in that regard.

Great Rode Shoe
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Lives up to hype - lightweight, good fit without insert as I have high instep, carbon increases pedal power and took 1/2 size smaller than my SIDIs.

Nice Shoe - Too Narrow
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Shoe is well made but too narrow if your foot runs wide. The adjustability of the dials is nice and allows the user to get a precise fit.

Comfort and Performance
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
First time purchasing a Shimano road shoe so I didn't know what to expect. True to size length wise, but the toe box seems really roomy to me. For me that was both good and bad. Good because it makes the shoe more comfortable in my opinion, and bad because with the stock insoles I was constantly tightening the dials to try and get a really snug fit. Eventually went to insoles that took up more room and that solved my problem. Really like the adjustment dials as you can really fine tune the fit and it's easy to do while on the bike.

Great shoe and fit
- Familiarity:

purchased after having numerous issues with Fizik and other brands that were too tight. The fit is great and comfortable over long rides. Good arch support and the boa dials allow for perfect adjustment and easy to do on rides. The feeling of the power transfer is the biggest improvement over my previous entry level carbon shoes.
