Top Quality Rain Jacket
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Medium
I’ve had many disappointments buying bike gear over the past year, with many trips to the post office and FedEx to send back items that were poorly made or had been overhyped by the marketing department. Not the case here! This expensive, but of very high quality. The fit is excellent though not as roomy as the advertising suggests. (I purchased a medium, my true size, and it fit perfectly.) There’s a lot of attention to detail in the cuffs, the neck and hood, and the very welcome chest pocket sadly missing in other garments. The only note of caution I would sound is, while this is packable and can be stored in your saddle or handlebar bag, it is not a garment that folds down like a shakedry jacket, for example. There is more substance to this than to that type of garment. Yes, it’s costly, but worth it, and seems very durable. I hope to ride with it for years to come.
