Why We Like The Zeta Helmet
The Shred Ready Zeta Helmet feels super comfortable in white waters. Different by design, the Zeta abandons the practice of using two different foams to achieve a balance of soft comfort and hard protection, and instead uses one innovative foam to keep us protected on the water.
The foam, designed in tandem with DCLAN technologies, maintains a soft and comfortable feel in its resting state, but transforms when impacted to help direct energy away from the user's head. The result is an effective and protective foam that cuts down on bulk without sacrificing performance. Other key design features include a one-hand-adjustable BOA retention system at the back of the head, a new strap configuration for greater overall comfort, and a special brim that reduces glare from shimmering waters.

unprofessional customer service. gross
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
just received the helmet. the strap configuration was such garbage that i couldn't imagine a more unsafe scenario for a helmet. i emailed Backcountry, and they refused to work with me on the unsafe helmet. ultimately the straps were placed in the wrong spot, resulting in, if you got hit, the helmet had zero security and would rip straight back. exposing the forehead and putting a ton of pressure on the neck. they refused a refund. be very cautious with this product. the temple strap on the helmet was almost 2 inches Infront of the temple pad. in the pic i attached, imagine that strap closer to your eye brow and not anywhere near your temple. and now backcountry is refusing to help out in any way. i spent my money, just to have them tell me they might give me a refund if they think its a warranty issue. this is my safety, not a monetary issue, back country is at fault and i am disgusted at their response. it is like they do not value a consumers safety, just their profits.

I don?t know anything about kayak helmets, so I?m wondering if I could use this as a skateboard helmet? As in does it provide the same impact protection as a skateboard helmet? It?s hard to find a good visor skateboard helmet. Thanks!
