Why We Like The SIDI Nix Cycling Boot
The SIDI Nix Cycling Boot is a winterproof boot that keeps us riding outdoors year-round. The high-tech upper construction features a GORE-TEX membrane and fleece to keep us warm with optimal weather resistance and breathability, while the R2CC sole delivers the same power transfer we’re used to in our summer shoes. The wrapper closer system and dialing system provide a secure fit that is easy to adjust with gloves on, and the firmor surround stabilizes the foot and ankle for a more personalized fit.

warm and lightweight
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These replaced some old Sidi Diablo mtn bike winter boots. The Nix boots seem warmer than the old Diablos and are comparatively lightweight. No issues or complaints. Size seems right on, I ordered size 46 and have just the right amount of room for some warm wool socks -- unlike some other cycling shoes that run too narrow for me [My shoe size is usually 11 EE]. I've ridden in these down to about 25F [~20 miles] and they're good.
