Why We Like The Seat Roll Asymmetrico
Silca's Seat Roll Asymmetrico is for cyclists who appreciate an organized seat roll that doesn't shift or bop around while we're riding, thanks to a BOA L6 Closure System. It has four internal pockets and holds tubes up to 700c x 45mm. We like how compact this seat roll is, and how easy it is to organize everything we need for flat repairs and light bike maintenance out on a trail or tour.

WoRkS
I have three of these. One on road bike and one on each of my gravel bikes. Hundreds of miles, rough terrain, races, etc. and no issues. Love these SADDLE bags. I have seen pictures here of people trying to strap it to the frame... "Saddle bag"

No big issues
- Familiarity:

Some people have complained about it coming open and losing items. If it’s rolled up correctly it isn’t an issue. That said it’s not super easy to roll up if on the go or in a group race/ride. This weekend I was able to access the items inside east enough, but after a quick flat fix, it was easier and quicker to just throw the seat roll into my CamelBak than it was to re-fold/roll/attach -if it were one of my other seat packs, i’d have undoubtedly just re-attached the Velcro connection and rode on. -I noted that it runs small, because it does fit a tube/multi-tool/patch/tire levers/spare links/CO2, having all that makes it tough to fold down/attach properly.

If you like to stop every 15 minutes because your saddle bag gets loose and tangle from your seat, this is your ideal bag. I tried to set it every imaginable way, but with any vibration from the road, it will get loose. And you potentially will loose your stuff. If I could give it 0 stars I will do. 50$ thrown to the garbage.

Looks great! Better for road.

This is a great looking bag, but it unwraps every off every ride and stuff falls out. I am mainly riding gravel or single track. I pack it up with a tube, tire irons, multi tool and CO2. It fits great and simple to attach to seat post or tube. The boa dial is super simple. I found if I really torque it down it fails less under my seat post. Really torque it down. I would only recommend for road or smooth surfaces use.

I wish I read the reviews first

Nothing more to add. Was this item designed but not tested? Fell off on mile 10.

Absolutely garbage
DO NOT BUY IT. You will have to stop 3, 4, 5....10 times while riding to put it back in place. It keeps fallings. Absolutely garbage.

Terrible. Falls off every ride.
- Familiarity:

Poor design and comes off every ride. While waiting to sort out a return or a new bag, I've taken to lashing it to my handlebars, and it still comes loose when I hit a bump. It fits my components but too many times, I've had to pick up all of them over a few hundred yards when it falls off my bike. The previous version of this seat roll doesn't seem to have these problems, but I seem to have a similar experience to most other reviewers here.

This thing is worthless!

I was hoping to improve my under the seat bag by purchasing this item. I was wrong, this is a poor design and it will NOT stay in place no matter how you do it. Here is the funniest/worst part of the whole story, the absolute worst part about this bag (for me) was the extra large rubber pull tab, because on every bumpy decent it would flap and hit the bag making the worst slapping noise I have ever heard!!! The concept looked promising, the price was on the high side, so I thought it would be a quality item. It might be good quality, but it is useless as a saddle bag. I hope when I reach out to the company they will allow me to make a return, because I'm way past the 30 return policy from Backcountry.

the BOA isnt good enough
- Familiarity:

I like the concept, but Ive had tons of issues with the BOA. It just doesn't have enough grip to cinch down the roll to the saddle, so it regularly comes loose during longer rides.

Fail from Silca

I cannot recommend this unfortunately. It just does not stay cinched up and always ends up dangling around. Very disappointing. Quick follow up. It mostly works without issue on the road bike.
