Super Pista Digital Floor Pump
The Silca Super Pista was introduced as a higher volume alternative to the venerable Pista that many veteran cyclists still own. With modern higher volume tires, the need to move more air quicker is necessary and something that was lacking with the small volume/high-pressure Pista. The Super Pista Digital Floor Pump has all the virtues of the Pista, but with a larger air chamber, which means 20% more stroke volume and faster pumping along with a large easy to read digital gauge that makes it easy to get your tires at the right pressure every time.
The Ash handle is a vast improvement over the tiny plastic handle on the Pista and mirrors that of the SuperPista Ultimate providing the ultimate in comfort and ergonomics and it has a secure carring strap. There's plenty of room for large hands, and the Super Pista is taller as well to make life easy on your back when you need to top off a few sets of wheels at once. Silca pumps are so well-loved because they seem to last forever, and when something wears out after your first decade of usage, you can replace it for a few dollars and get loads more use out of it. That's what we've always done and this SuperPista combines a full metal shock piston design with the classic Italian leather plunger washer and German Igus linear bearings to create the highest efficiency, smoothest running SuperPista to date.
The Silca Super Pista has an oversized aluminum base for twice the stability over other designs. The backlit digital gauge is mounted up top and is 1% accurate with and adjustable pressure alarm and pressure units. Also, this pump has a first for Silca, a top-mount hose design with top mount magnetic chuck storage. This makes the chuck easier to reach and reduces back strain and eliminates bending over to access or store the chuck. As with the Ultimate pump, the SuperPista comes standard with its award-winning HIRO chuck. This full metal chuck was originally designed for ultra-high pressure track use, but mechanics have since found that they prefer it for its compact size, adjustability, and extreme holding ability on all valve and valve extension designs and have taken it over to other disciplines.

Broken Super Pista Digital Floor Pump
After two years of use this expensive pump leaks air from the head of the pump around the digital gauge. The seven year Silca warranty is useless. Save your money and buy something cheaper and better.

Worthless
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This pump has the most worthless chuck for presta valves. It will not stay on, and in the process lets deflates the tire better than inflates the tire.

Best Pump Ever
- Familiarity:

Hard to imagine a better bike pump. While you would think w bike pump is a simple device, the folks at Silca have made it a piece of art. Wood handle, leather strap, voluminous air chamber and a digital gage and and a unique clamp are some of the things that make this the bike pump of all bike pumps.

with such high pressure limit (220 psi) - would you recommend this pump for new tubless low pressure riding PSIs - i.e. road on an a 700x28 tubless tire with pressure at 75 psi - I read that some high pressure pumps are not accurate below 80 PSIs and those review suggest to look for a new generation of pumps that are designed for Tubeless riding. I would appreciate the feedback.
