Why We Like The Simms Challenger Bib Pant

We like The Simms Challenger Bib Pant for its fishing-specific features. Similar to the fabric in Simms waders, the durable Toray shell fabric is waterproof and breathable with a convenient zippered chest pocket and quick-access cargo pockets with a drop-in pliers pocket and drain holes. The belt loops includes a kill switch D-ring for boating safety while the zippered leg opening and hook-and-loop cuffs let us pull our bibs off and on easily as the weather conditions change on our fishing trip. We also like the female-friendly fit with the adjustable waist and suspenders letting us loosen or tighten things up as we see fit. We paired our pants with the Simms Challenge Jacket for a matched kit for foul-weather fishing.

Good quality

Would have gotten 5 stars if the cuffs at the ankles had more adjustment to deal with extra length in the leg. It’s pretty sloppy when the minimum length is 31” and your inseam is a 28.
