Why We Like The Simms Freestone Pant Wader
The Simms Freestone Pant Wader provides anglers with the waist-high protection we need for summer wading in our favorite freestone streams or year-round wading in shallow spring creeks. Made with a durable, four-layer Toray fabric with a 2-layer waterproof membrane, these durable waders seal out water while delivering brush-busting protection as we hike into those primo runs and wade through underwater obstacle courses. The integrated waistband allows us to find a perfect, secure fit, while built-in gravel guards protect the waders against abrasive river bottoms. For a matched set, pair with the Simms Freestone wading boots.

This is my second pair of Simms waders, I purchased a Medium based on the size chart and it was to tight for me, I didnt have confidence I could raise my leg to climb out of the river, they ran tight for me, but I am exchanging them for a Large, so I'm excited to try them on.

Very Sturdy
For a pant wader, is very sturdy. Can take the sticks and rocky edges that are extreme wading conditions . Very comfortable

Freestone is a Major Upgrade
This is an excellent product. They wear like pants and are well suited to hiking. I also experienced much less drag while wading.

Wading Pants
Perfect for me, at 70 years I do not go deep anymore , the fit is perfect belt is nice and wide ! Be aware that front zipper opens to help get them on ! Does not open all the way , so don't think you'll find a tree and open zipper! They are the best on market !

Very comfortable
Absolutely the best waders for hot weather. I wear my pant waders more than my chest waders. I mainly fish east Tn.

Size and fitment not the same as previous wader pants
These seem to be well made , but the sizing Is WAY off from their previous version, My older Freestone pant failed due to a water leak and was a Medium (perfect fit for me ) I’m 5’8” 197 The new version size Medium was pretty small (returned) and the Large is WAY to baggy. (Returning) I’m going to send my old ones in for repair and look for another brand , disappointed and lots of trips to the UPS store - wish the design group would not have changed them or at least offer mid sizes.
