Description of "cushioning" is terrible

I have been purchasing Smart socks for 30 years and was dumbfounded by the renaming/rebranding of their socks. Unfortunately, I didn't have my wife order them as she would probably been able to identify the appropriate item. Apparently my PhD in chemical engineering was of no help and now I am forced to return the socks minus the $6.99 for shipping. That is NOT a FULL REFUND. Finally, MAX cushioning no longer comes in my favorite color.

really great socks. wear these quite a bit in the winter months around the house but also all year for hiking. of all the smartwool socks, I tend to use the medium weight the most by far. can't have too many pairs of these.

Great fit and excellent comfort for long hikes up in the mountains. Purchased one pair to see if I would like them, was blown away. Have done several 5+ mile hikes with the, and am ordering more today! Great product!
