Like putting a 30 year old pair of Hanes tighty whiteys on your head. Loose and paper thin. Will make a good handkerchief.

Nice and thin and can be warn under other layers. Biggest flaw is that is very short in length and doesn't cover my ears and is hard to keep on the head when moving around.

Believe the reviews that this is just not a good hat. It is way too thin and barely does anything. I’m bald, so I know hats. Even wearing it inside a cold house you can feel the cold still on your head. I prefer the slightly less expensive icebreaker hat. It does seem to run on the larger side of one size fits all.

I can't believe they charged $25 for these. I love all SmartWool products and have many many but this is not something I will enjoy. Doesn't fit well. Extremely thin. Nothing that I would consider a Smartwool characteristic. Not recommended.
