Why We Like The I/O MAG S Chromapop Goggles
Sometimes big things come in small packages. That's certainly the case with the Smith I/O MAG S Chromapop Goggles. They're sized for smaller faces, but still offer a wide field of vision when we're ripping down our favorite trails. The spherical lens design enhances peripheral vision so we can see more and stay safe on crowded trails, while the Chromapop lens technology enhances both color and contrast so we can identify variable snow conditions more easily. These goggles also feature Smith's MAG interchangeable lens system, which uses magnetic contact points and a dual-locking mechanism to quickly swap between the included bright light and low light lenses when clouds swoop in the afternoon. Plus, they have an anti-fog coating to ensure all that clarity-enhancing technology won't wind up with cloudy views after a few tough trails.

Great Googles
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
My entire family now has a pair of Smith I/O MAGs. For those of us who've used them for a few years, they are still as good as new. We each had to experiment with the various sizes/fits in order to ensure no fogging while in use, but this was easy to do. The magnetic connection makes popping in the desired lens so effortless; the only thing I wish was slightly better was the release mechanism. There is a tab that must be pushed a bit in order for the lens to be released, and I always worry I'm about to break it (it's a hard plastic) - but we haven't damaged any yet. Clearly, it's better made than I could tell. Overall, a great product. I only wish it was possible to mix/match the day/storm lenses upon purchase. An extra set lens (storm) came with each goggle purchase, but I wasn't able to select the hue.

They kept me warm! I’m
They kept me warm! I’m new to skiing but my bf and his family are pros so I went with what they told me are good and I don’t have any regrets I was warm and safe the two days we went skiing. There was a sunny and a cloudy days and it was easy to snap in the different lenses for the conditions. I also like that they match my other gear! Overall I would get them again if I needed to.

Went to the hill yesterday
Went to the hill yesterday and when I was on the chair lift they fogged up. I tried to clear them but it was actually in between the lense so not on the outside or inside. I had to ride with them on my helmet til it cleared. Not ideal

Perfect for smaller faces and extra lens for cloudy days
They seem to work very well. I haven't worn the original lens yet, only the lighter extra lens that was provided - which was awesome. The light lens was easy to see in overcast conditions and it was easy to change them out. They fit with my helmet perfectly (not a Smith) and fit my smaller face much better than previous goggles I've owned. The clip on the strap is interesting - I've never had one like that before. I was nervous it would fall off when adjusting but it never did.
