A new addition to the Smith line of adjustable helmets, the Liberty Helmet is tough, lightweight, and features adjustable ventilation that we love for all-day excursions with changing weather. It features a low-profile hybrid construction packed with impact-resistant foam and Smith's Koroyd filler, all of which help absorb the force from unfortunate spills. And thanks to an abundance of adjustable ventilation, the entire mountain is yours to explore—open them up to cool off on traverse or bootpack, then snap them shut when you're back on the wind-whipped ski lift.

Never wore a helmet, which
Never wore a helmet, which admittedly was ridiculous. Was pleasantly surprised how natural wearing this helmet felt. Now, I feel more confident on the mountain and am setting a great example for my kids.

Saved me from a headache or worse
Immediately fell Day 1, pitched forward and hit my head on an icy slope. I could feel the helmet allow my head to rotate a little to deflect the impact. I quickly recovered and did not even end up with a headache! I was so grateful that I invested in this helmet. Also it was incredibly comfortable and warm. I skied in January and didn't need a hat underneath the helmet. My ears were comfortable all day despite being out for 6 hours. I have the Liberty helmet and I bought my daughters the Vida (black) and the Mission (white). They loved their helmets, too! The snowboarder with us is also in a Smith helmet and he attached a GoPro to his.

Great value
Love it! Fits nicely! I have found it makes a lot of sense to try on helmet and goggles together! Best to buy goggles of same brand! Would recommend feel safe! Tighten that chin strap won’t do you much good if loose!

Great helmet!!! Only thing is
Great helmet!!! Only thing is change is to make the vents flush with the helmet because the vents will collect water on wet days and slowly drain onto your head, making you wet. To get around this you have to tip your head all the way down to drain the vents, problem solved.

Love it!
Super comfy and warm! Plus the amethyst color is really cute! I love that it has absolutely no gap with my goggles, and the dial to adjust sizing works great.

You only get one head and brain
Comfy helmet that fits snug on my small head! I thought they came down very low on my neck but it didn't interfere at all with neck or head mobility on the mountain.
