Beautiful design, too loose of a fit
The design is beautiful. I use these for road cycling but I find myself constantly having to push the glasses back up because they are loose and don't fit well around my nose bridge. I think the fit could have been designed much better.

Smith Quality, But Only For Larger Faces
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
These are high quality sunglasses, but they’re much larger and less curved than other Smith cycling sunglasses. Smith lists these as a medium fit, but they’re definitely for larger faces. The’re also far less curved than the other Smith models I have, such as Ruskus, Arena, and Attack. The photo is of the Shift Split vs Ruckus, the difference in size and curve is substantial. So, recommended, if you have a larger face and don’t want sunglasses with a close to the face wrap.

Purple and pink! Caution!
So, I love the sunglasses, their functionality is absolutely perfect… but, they’re purple and pink. I ordered the ones called “Matte Terra / Poppy” and the pictured showed them as a kind of crimson and orange, but, they’re definitely purple and pink. I’m a guy. Luckily, I’m pretty confident and comfortable and I care about how well they work more than how they look, but they’re totally purple and pink. However, 5 star review because after years of constantly adjusting my helmet and sunglasses while racing in aero drops so I can see, I paired these glasses with the smith ignite helmet and I can see and I never have to adjust! It’s soooo nice! I can put up wearing some odd colors for that. Cheers!

Looks great but fit is poor
The biggest problem with these, same as some other reviewers have mentioned is that the fit of the glasses are loose and floppy feeling. I am female and just thought my head wasn’t wide enough to accommodate these glasses. However the other reviews are from men saying the same thing. I will try to find a way to Jimmy them so they are tighter on my head and don’t fall down my face.

I really want to like them..
I will reiterate what has been alluded to with other comments here. I am a big dude with a relatively big face and somehow these glasses feel loose and floppy. They look great and have a high-quality lens, but the glasses just aren't secure on my face. They bounce around on the mountain bike and feel like the wind will take them off my face if I were to look back on the road bike. The arms are loose on my temples and the nose piece does not grip so I am constantly pushing them back up on my face. I have always been a fan of Smith products, but these seem to miss the mark.

These Sunglasses fall flat for a contact user
These sunglasses do not curve as much as the Reverb or other models of Smith sunglasses, allowing more air from the sides and bottom of the sunglasses to pass over my eyes. Since I wear corrective lenses this style does not work for me; I need a more curved design that does not allow for as large of gaps at the bottom and sides of the sunglasses. I used them for several long gravel rides and they tended to stay on my face relatively well considering how far away the bottom of the glasses hover from my face, but sweat from my helmet would often run down the front of them. Lastly, the durability and scratch-resistance of the black gold mirror lens was lacking and I found several spots on the glasses where the chrome finish has worn off. The Mag arms for switching from the clear lens to the sunglass lens are very nice and the quality of the glasses is great. There are many other styles I've had success with from Smith but these ones aren't for me.

Jury is Still Out
These are great glasses out of the box! Fit is as advertised and coverage is expansive. However, after only owning these for less than 3 months, the lenses are separating from the frame due to the adhesive no longer supporting the weight of the lens. I’ve reached out to smith regarding a warranty claim. I’m unsure if this is an isolated event but Smith Optics has a reputation of taking care of their customers and I’m hoping to have a great experience.
