I’ve had a smith vantage for years. They are good helmets. But the sizing is off now. I currently own a Smith Vantage in L. I just tried a Smith Vantage Round contour and it is tighter than the regular vantage. This is despite the measurement guide saying it is a good bit bigger. So, if you’re thinking the round contour and the larger internal size is going to be a better fit…it won’t be. I am also not thrilled by how high these new helmets sit. They have a very large profile. I’m sure it’s a great helmet. It just doesn’t fit my head right.

Size too small compare with other Smith Method round fit helmet
I have a Smith Method Round fit, size M, and it fits me perfectly. But for Vantage size M is totally too small for me. It's too tight even after loose the BOA. I have measured that I have 58 cm for the head, but I still feel too tight on the side of Vantage. M is 59-63cm, there is no way I should buy a 63-67cm helmet (Size L) for my head.

Used this helmet a few times now. Super comfy for all day wear, and the ability to close the vents is super cool on wet days and warm sunny days. I was originally worried about the brim being an issue with goggle fit and fogging, but I’ve nothing but good experiences.

Solid Helmet
Helmet fits great, super comfortable and adjustable. Have worn it in very cold to spring skiing like conditions with this crazy winter in NE. Only gripe is the material of the ear pieces is heavier and a bit coarse. other than that, couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I have the same helmet
I have the same helmet but like the website says this "shape fits differently" and I lost out buying a for sale helmet which isn't ideal for my head. Oh well.

Works as advertised
Smashed the back of my head into a tree and the helmet worked perfectly! So I bought another one, feels snug but barely notice you're wearing it.
