I'be bought these before at the same size I ordered this time, but they were very small. I contacted backcountry to see if they would exchange them at the sale price for which I originally bought them. Crickets. A few weeks later I received an email from a Backcountry employee asking me for the order number, which I sent back the next day. Crickets. Weeks later, still nothing. Over the years I have spent quite a bit of money with this vender. That may well have come to an end. I have never had such crap service from them

They work well. Very thin and light. They actually have a toe/edge so they are a good upgrade from a beginner shoe.

I've been using this shoe in the gym and outside for a few months since my last set of climbing shoes developed a hole too big to patch. They were decently comfortable right off the bat and didn't take long to break in at all. They perform really well on overhang problems in the gym but can be used in lots of different situations. The one thing I will say is that the midsole is pretty flexible which makes standing on little footholds for long periods difficult. I'd recommend these, but especially to people who like to boulder indoors.
