Winter winners
These boots look great and are comfy too. They keep my feet cosy in the freezing weather and the grip from the sole is decent on icy pavements. I’ve not warm them in snow yet.

Too big for my feet, had to go back, sadly
Sadly I had to send the boots back as they were too big. I’ve got a pair of size 4 trainers which I think are a little bit snug so thought a half size up would be perfect but the boots themselves looked big in my feet as well as actually being too big. There weren’t any size 4’s left so had to send these back. Still waiting for my refund, but it’s only been a few days! Still love Sorel, not these ones for me though

Chukka
Really like them. I like them especially because they kind of look and feel like sneakers which are more comfortable than the usual slushy rain boots I’d wear.

Great purchase!
Warm and very comfortable! Look good too if you like a chunky look. Definitely smaller fit so order half/whole size up would be my advice as per website. Rated as quite wide but I do have a narrow foot so take that with a pinch of salt.

Excellent urban sneaker boot for winter
Some of my favorite Sorels. Warm, waterproof, comfortable, easy to wear, just all around excellent shoe for winter in the city on days where it’s cold and snowy but not SUPER snowy. Most days you don’t need a full-on winter boot, so these are perfect for your average winter day in the city.

Quality not what I’m used to
Shipment was quick and shoes fitted very good. Quality is not what I’m used to for Sorel boots. Didn’t feel as solid and bouncy on the soles. I returned the shoes.

Warm Boots, Poor Tread
I needed boots that would keep my feet warm & dry in the winter during my walk to work. I haven't worn them outdoors yet, but they feel well insulated. I think the warm & dry part is met. However, the tread on these boots is severely lacking. They are cold weather boots, which means they should have proper grip for wet, snowy or icy weather. There is only tread around the perimeter & the center of the sole is flat with no tread/grip. I really like these boots overall, but I worry about slipping & falling easily given the lack of grip/tread on the bottom. Poor design for winter boots.
