Why We Like The SOREL Whitney II Plus Tall Lace WP Boot
When snow turns to slush on city streets, we lace into the SOREL Whitney II Plus Tall Lace WP Boot to keep our feet dry and warm. The mid-height boots are packed with lightweight, lofty insulation, which is protected by a tough waterproof bootie that keeps icy meltwater away from our cozy socks. The microfleece lining and comfortable cuff are soft next to our skin, and the removable EVA footbed offers plush support beneath our feet. EverTread soles keep us firmly on our feet when the sidewalk gets icy, and the lace closure ensures a tight, comfortable fit all winter long.

Love Them
I went up a half a size because I have a similar pair and they run a little snug. I'm normally a 9, but I got the 9.5. They are super comfortable.

Good for snow, terrible for ice
I'm really torn on these. They are comfortable, warm, waterproof and great in the snow. But they are awful and down-right dangerous in ice. I have another pare of Sorel boots that do much better, but aren't are insulated. I get that ice is slippery any time, but the other boots seem to have some grip, whereas these boots literally become skates. I have had several near wipe-outs in these boots. To sell these as 'all weather' is a lie. I am petrified wearing these around town. After the snow falls and traffic/foot prints begin to ice-over, these boots are practically useless.

So cute !!!
Delivery was excellent, one day earlier than expected. Boots are very cute and light. Once I tried them in they fit a bit tight however I walked around the house and they did give in. I am a size 8/wide for reference. Comparing the Uggs they are much flexible and light. We will see how they perform in the snow

Love these boots. I had a pair of quilted North Face boots that I loved that finally gave out after years of wear and wanted something similar. I especially did not want the hard, molded toe area that many boots have. These hit all the marks…soft quilted toes and sides, comfy lining, easy to get on and off, warm, waterproof, no-slip treads, and high enough to keep me protected from the moderate snows we get in the northwest. They are really nice looking, too. I also own Sorel fall boots and a winter jacket that I really love. I’ve found this brand to be great quality, with excellent warmth and durability, and very stylish.
