Why We Like The Fast Trak Grid 2Bliss T7 29in Tire
Designed with the podium in mind, the Fast Trak Grid 2Bliss T7 Tire utilizes a fast-rolling design to attack cross-country courses with maximum speed. It’s no slouch when it comes to traction either though, with center knobs that are designed to brake well on slick descents, and produce rear wheel traction while clambering up steep and loose climbs.

Dramatic pneumatic
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I’ve ridden these tires 3 times so far. Twice on legit single track and once on gravel trails with about 2” of snow. They rolled fast over the snow and had enough bite to feel confident on punchy uphills. Had some trouble getting them to seal up but once they did they’ve held air like a champ. Recommended psi min. is 29lbs. But I’ve been running them at 25 and have had no problem. For the money a good fast rolling tire.

I?ve been running the old version Fast Controls 60tpi that came stock and now have been using the new Fast Traks. I have the Control T5 for the rear and Grid T7 in the front. The new ones appear to have a little more knob to them but I don?t notice any slower rolling resistance. The T7 is a little softer and does better on roots/rocks. They are very predictable tires and are my go to for mixed terrain when I still want to go fast. I used this setup for the Marji Gesick 100 in Michigan and seemed to be the best balance of grip and speed. No punctures and $30 cheaper than Maxxis and Schwalbe.
