Great fit! light and easy

wish i’d bought this a year ago, fit is terrific on my small head and i love the helmet. Obviously you hope you never really need it, but I went with the best available

Good for oval heads, bad for sunnies

This helmet is fine. For me, it fits much worse than the Prevail II which already was a more oval shape. For the Prevail III, I had to size up. As a result, the big helmet loos is less than ideal with a ton of empty space at the front and back of the helmet. The prevail II held sunglasses well in the lowest vent holes. The only way I can get sunglasses to fit snugly is to put them in vents further up and with the support structure parts, is hard to get in level.

Best option for oval headshape

I tried the Trek starves, Trek Rally, POC Ventral air mips, and Giro Aries spherical helmets. The only one that didn't give me a headache and discomfort was this Specialized S-Works Prevail 3 Mips. I can wear it for long rides with zero discomfort. I am very happy. I do wish it came with a fidlock clasp. My Oakley Sutro's do fit in upside down but are a bit loose and can not be inserted all the way. The Giro and POC were better at storing glasses.
