Hot Pack Norain Jacket
The Hot Pack NoRain Jacket may not be as lightweight, waterproof, and breathable as the Ultralight version, but it's still eminently packable and provides all the protection needed for those days when clouds are threatening in early spring and late fall. It's enough protection to keep you dry for hours in light to moderate precipitation as long as you aren't lying in a puddle or riding in a monsoon.

- I've used it several times
This jacket isn't as packable as the other sportful hotpack jackets but it's worth a lot more warmth. It's still small enough to strap under my saddle bag and stay out of the way, where its integrated travel sack keeps it safe from road spray. I leave it there throughout the winter to account for the temperamental weather here in the Rockies and it's a terrific backup for the 20% of rides where I guess the wrong wardrobe. I can't say exactly how water proof it is but I care mostly about the wind. The arms are long and clingy, the torso is nicely elastic if not a race fit, and I often forget whether I'm still wearing it. As with other sportful tops I size up by one.
