Works as advertised

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Works as advertised. I couldn't receive messages for a few days when I was testing it from home but then started receiving them. Battery lasts about 3 days when sending about 4 messages per day. I switched from one of their entry level devices and the switch was easy, customer service was good. Ultimately though, I would bet satellite messaging will come to smartphones and these devices will be obsolete. It feels like there has been little product development since 2010 on this thing.
