Why We Built The Stoic Bivy Suit
Designed for campers who want to explore their camp's surroundings without leaving the warmth of a sleeping bag, the Bivy Suit from Stoic is one of our best creations yet. We crafted this one-piece sleeping bag suit so that we really never have to take it off, thanks to the cooling two-way front zip and zippered thigh vents, and the pullover hand and feet covers that retain extra warmth when we need it. Because this innovation has become such a popular style, we extended the sizing so even more adventurers can appreciate the Bivy Suit's toasty cocoon.

LOVE the bivvy!
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- S/m
This is the best purchase I have made- maybe ever. It has transformed winter in New England for me. It’s so easy and so warm. I bought mine over a year ago. This recent purchase was a gift because I want to spread the warmth of the bivvy. I could be your spokesperson if you need one. Folks ask me where I got it every time I wear it.

Proud to be a Teletubby
- Size Bought:
- XS/S
OMG this suit is amazing. I look like a teletubby when I wear it but I get the last laugh at the outdoor campfire...I'm cozy and happy. I wish the pockets were a little deeper, but the XS/S fits me well, although it does hang a little low in the crotch area - I'm 5'7". The larger size was ENORMOUS and I had to send back for an exchange. I wear this indoors (when I want to save on the heating bill) and outdoors, and I'm extremely warm, comfortable and happy in it.

Finally Warm!
- Familiarity:

- S/M
Arms & legs are a tad long and it has excess fabric around the waist: I look like a demented Stay-Puff marshmallow. I'm 5'8" and 155lbs and I got it in PINK since I don't care how ridiculous it looks: I am finally warm! I wear it inside to ward off chills, paired with NF thermoball booties and Backcountry Pines microgrid long-sleeve with balaclava. The added bonus: I bring mirth & laughter wherever I go, especially at school drop-off/ pick up. But secretly they're just jealous...

Bury me in this

- XXS/XS

Genuinely the best gift I have maybe ever received. I am 5’4”, 120 pounds and the XXS/XS is just slightly big on me but I’m not complaining. I wear this in the wintertime on almost a daily basis: sitting outside while my kids play, sitting in my cold living room, running the trash out to the trash can. It’s WONDERFUL. I anticipate using it a lot for camping and ultra race crewing duties. Literally bury me in this thing.

Super cozy

The size chart is definitely off. They should provide sizing by length rather than width. Based off size chart, I ordered S/M but had to exchange for XXS/XS. There is still plenty of room. The Bivy suit is much cozier than I thought! It keeps in my body heat very well. Unfortunately due to the exchange, I wasn’t able to test it out when I was in 20° weather, but it is definitely too warm for hanging out in the house at 68°.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She was very pleased with it. I was most worried about the fit, but it fit her well. It actually looked extremely cute on her!

So comfy!

I’ve been eyeing one of these basically since they released and finally bit the bullet! The sizing is generous but that’s not a bad thing and contributes to the warmth. My sole complaint is that the way one of my arms was sewn created a weird funnel I have to shove my hand through but it isn’t uncomfortable once on. Definitely recommend!

Awesome item, just double-think sizing
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Weight:

I'm 6' 210 lbs with big legs and the S/M fits me quite well, just a tiny bit tight through the thighs but can still wear them comfortably w/ a thinner underlayer (shorts, leggings etc). I also got the L/XL (don't judge me), which is very long (I need to bungie the legs to keep them up) but that size is my preferred size for couch lounging.

We hated them.

I am not saying they're a bad product. They look good, they're awesome to walk around, warm and cozy. But to sleep in these was torture. For me and my wife. Both had the worst sleep of our lives in 0*C (which i think is 32F?)....I dont know. We got them half price so we aint going to complain a lot, but I would go with a sleeping bag. Unless you want something to walk around the camp.
