Why We Built The Stoic Madrone Tunnel Tent + Screen Porch
Our Stoic Madrone Tunnel Tent + Screen Porch is a packable palace that lets us escape to the outdoors with our closest pals and return with our friendships intact. The vaulted ceiling lets us stand tall inside as we wander in and out, while the wall-hanging pockets keep our phones and headlamps from getting lost in the jumble of sleeping bags, blankets, and pillows. We equipped this tent with a huge vestibule that lets everyone keep their shoes safe from creepy crawlers without stinking up the place or causing a tripping hazard. And when rain has us all trapped inside, the seam-sealed fly and floor keep the moisture out, and the generous floor space makes it possible to break out the card games.

Very close but not quite there
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is a large tent, large enough for three cots, that you can stand up in, it has two different entranceways, one of them has a half screen window, which is a nice feature, If you do not use that as a doorway that it simply is another window to allow for cross ventilation. The rain fly does not come off the tent, though it can be peeled back for the last 1/6 of the 10th space which again is helpful for ventilation, but not as great as being able to have the fly completely removable. The screened investable is a decent size, however, it does not zip at the bottom, so it is certainly not going to keep bugs out, the doorway that would be the main entranceway into the tent does not have a zipper screen, and this is the biggest flaw of all. For this price point, the main entranceway should have a screen door. Camped with this tent during a low-grade hurricane/tropical storm in North Carolina, and it was fine.
