Desert Hiker

Hat is very useful. I have used for desert hiking in Arizona/utah and while hiking the 500 mile Camino Frances across Spain in late summer heat. It provided needed shade and was very comfortable, in addition, I have received positive comments on appearance from passersby. I bought a second hat to avoid disappointment of unavailability in future years.

I obtained my hat in a bit different way, it washed up on our beach. Someone on a boat is missing it greatly. I had been wearing Tiiley hats but I like this one much better. The brim is stiffer which is a great benefit out sailing on breezy days. The adjustable band allows fitting the hat perfectly. The narrower venting along the top keeps it cool while keeping the sun out. And the material holds up very well.

Love this hat! It is comfortable, and the brim helps with the sunshine. When it is windy, the attachment under my chin keeps the hat from blowing off.

No regret purchase

Recently purchased this hat when visiting the Big Bend area and I love it. It fits perfectly and is true to size. I was looking for a light weight stiff brimmed hat for sun protection and this one was just right.

Love this hat, fits perfectly, strap works great on windy day, and an adjustable headband used during winter or summer months.I have purchased four over the past eight years for different venues.

Ideal hat for sailing on sunny days.

After trying several wide brim sun hats, I found this one in a local sporting goods store on Cape Cod. It is ideally crafted and was admired by the captain on a spectator vessel at Americas Cup finals in Barcelona in September. He said he had tried to find one of similar design with stiff brim, SPF protection and was comfortable. There was nothing he could find like it in Europe. Being the generous sea-faring man that I am, I gave it to him at the end of the trip. The captain was extremely grateful and other passengers that day were impressed. As soon as I got back, I popped for a replacement from the website.

Great fitting hat! I get lots of compliments on my hat. It provides great sun protection while remaining cool. This is my second of this hat. No need to keep looking👍🏼
