Great breathable layer

I bought for cross country skiing on below 20 degree days and haven’t actually got to try that yet but used as a mid layer for downhill skiing and an outer layer for winter hiking in Yosemite and Grand Canyon. Good wind protection and breathability. I like the padded arms so I can only wear one base layer (light or wool). The back is not lined so I have been wearing with a vest unless working out hard. Cute too!

I really loved this jacket...until I didn't. My friend has one and calls it her "magic jacket." It has a great fit, features and performance. BUT---after only one season of lightly using, it already picks up smells horribly. I know that tech wear is prone to this, but I have had that "bacterial stink" mostly occur in tech wear I have worn for years...not a few months. I am totally bummed about this.
