Bought my first pair about a month ago. I absolutely love them. There is so much cushion in the sole it is like walking on clouds! The soft neoprene-like fabric that pads the straps is wonderful. No problems with the straps rubbing your feet at all. They are comfortable to wear around right out of the box. The arch support is sufficient. I have very high arches and was worried that these would not have enough support, but it feels like the arch support is even better after wearing them around a bit. I wear these for everyday use, kayaking and light hiking. I would not wear them on more rugged, rocky trails (but due to ankle issues I only wear high top hiking boots on rugged trails). They will be going along with me on backpacking trips for use in creek crossings and as camp shoes. I love them so much that I just ordered a second pair for backup. I bought these in a size 7. I have very narrow, bony feet with high arches. I usually wear a size 7.5 - 8 in sneakers, 7-8 in chacos, 7 in keens, and 7 in other Teva sandals. The size 7 in these fit me perfectly. If you wear a 7.5-8 in most shoes, I would recommend sizing down to a size 7. My only complaint is the color choices. I love the amaranth color (but it has been discontinued by Teva). The only other color choices are black and sage and burnt olive. The sage and burnt olive are very similar and very pale colors. Please Teva, give us some more pretty colors. How about a blue version?
