I recently purchased The North Face Men's 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket, and after wearing it for a while, I can confidently say it lives up to the hype The jacket has a boxy, vintage-inspired fit, staying true to its 90s heritage. It looks great with both casual and outdoor outfits, making it a versatile piece for everyday wear. I went with my usual size, and it fits comfortably with room for layering underneath. If you prefer a more fitted look, consider sizing down. Packed with 700-fill goose down, this jacket is impressively warm without feeling overly bulky. It holds up well against cold temperatures, even in windy conditions. The stowable hood is a great addition, offering extra protection when needed. The outer shell is made of ripstop nylon with a water-repellent finish, making it both durable and resistant to light rain or snow. The quality feels premium, and I expect this jacket to last for years.

Returned a jacket I bought as a gift for a larger size and I requested my exchange and they wouldn’t give me a discount code to buy it myself. I wanted to get the benefits from my card and another reward offer outside of this website and they just kept telling me they could only run the transaction for me. All I wanted to do was use my discount that I used to buy that product so I could run the transaction myself. Very disappointed with the customer service for not allowing me to have such a simple request and spend money on this site to buy the same expensive jacket I had bought as a gift.

All around good jacket, the one flaw is the hood. I wish the hood matched the rest of the jacket.

Long enough and perfect for the slopes

Love this jacket. I was worried about the reports that it's "short" I'm 5'9" with a longer torso and short legs(30-32 inseam) and the jacket came to just below my belt line. It's definitely a jacket for car camping, walks around town, etc. This ISN'T a summit series jacket and is defiantly not built as a belay jacket which I think some get confused. For me, after hitting the slopes and a bit sweaty, I pull this out of my pack, fluff it up(it folds into its own pocket and packs very small) and put it on going in and out of the lodge before the sweat get cold and drops my body temp.

Stylish Coat

I've been wanting this coat for long time and finally bought it. I've gotten at least 3 compliments on it and the fit is roomy and WARM. By far the warmest coat I've ever owned.

Absolutely love it

I brought this coat to match some sneakers and it's not just stylish it's so warm. The coat is not too puffy and it's easy to drive with. I highly recommend with this extremely cold weather. I would definitely buy another one in another color.
