Why We Like The North Face Ceptor Jacket
Neither long lift lines nor intense skin track climbs can keep us out of the snow, and we love that The North Face Ceptor Jacket makes a great shell on both resort and backcountry riding. DryVent's waterproof power keeps snow from melting into our kit, and its breathable design ensures we don't overheat when we're shredding hard on sunshiney days or hauling our gear to a remote peak. This simplified jacket is complex enough for suitable cold-weather protection and doesn't bog us down with features we don't need.

Solid Shell.
Love this shell. It has a good shape and doesn't feel like bulk on my torso. Dig the color.

May never need to buy another ski jacket again
Runs a tad larger in my opinion, but that is just how ski jackets go so it was expected. Jacket feels & looks incredible and well worth it!

Great value, perhaps better value than summit series
I tried both this jacket as well as the summit series ski jacket and didn't recognize any very significant differences. That is to the credit of the Ceptor (and a little to the detriment of the Summit series); so far it seems like a great jacket. I've worn it on a few early season days in the Sierras and it's been a capable replace for my 2012 summit series jacket. The sleeves allow plenty of freedom of movement. The powder skirt is adjustable enough that it fits well without being noticeable. The zippers work pretty well and are easy enough to grab with gloves on. The bright green color is super visible with makes it easy for kids and family to find me on the runs.

FINALLY, A BRIGHT COLOR & MANY HUGE POCKETS!
This is an excellent shell with great pockets, pit zips, pass arm pocket, and the chest pockets are large enough for large phones. The fit is also very good. Please continue to offer 4-5 pockets and bright colors.
