Why We Like The North Face Cold Spell Cropped Down Jacket
Whether we're skiing up to a chateau for some mid-day après or heading out to dinner in our favorite mountain town, we wear The North Face Cold Spell Cropped Down Jacket to combat the cold and shield us from the snow while adding plenty of alpine style. The DryVent 2-layer membrane sends falling flakes of snow harmlessly to the ground, keeping the 550-fill goose down dry and lofty to provide consistent warmth and insulation. The lighter-weight Heatseeker Eco insulation in the hood and underarms minimizes bulk for a refined silhouette, and multiple functional pockets offer convenient storage while we're lapping groomers at the resort.

Stylish, warm, lightweight
5'5, 128 lbs, I got a small and it fits perfectly. Very warm and stylish, lots of pockets, not bulky, lightweight, but again very warm.

Definitely will buy and recommend
Love this coat. It's so warm and comfy. The water repellent shell was perfect for the rainy days when I didn't have my umbrella. And even with that I was still nice and warm. Best purchase hands down

Luxe jacket but bulky
The jacket is pure luxury. It has all of the bells and whistles that you would want in a snow jacket. The only issue was how bulky it was. Because I had originally intended to use it for snow sports, I thought the bulkiness restricted my movement a bit too much, so I sadly returned it. But if you're needing a warm jacket for extreme winter weather, this is it.

Checks all the boxes!
This coat is everything from the well-designed color-blocking to the gender neutral olive colorway to the tonal grid pattern to the zippers to the elastic cuffs (so much easier for ski gloves than the traditional velcro) to the extreme warmth. I prefer an oversized fit so while I'm 5 ft. I bought the L. Would've loved a slightly longer style option but other than that, no notes. It's perfection.
